A visual city guide for your Palm Pilot, before Google Maps existed

After the stinted management consulting gig, I worked for a time at gate5, as product manager for a visual city guide running mainly on PalmOS! Remember that? Think Google Maps, before Google Maps even existed. I worked with some of the same people who previously worked at ART+COM, the company who ended up suing Google over the idea for Google Maps from them.

There is a whole Netflix documentary ("The Billion Dollar Code") about that saga, which you should totally watch. Can't say I didn't work at interesting places! :-P
